This program is designed to promote the field of diversity and inclusion as a necessary framework for organizations to implement. Attendees can expect to hear a blend of personal stories, literary examples, and practical solutions to valuing inclusion in the workplace. Furthermore, this program advocates for attendees to adopt a culturally conscious viewpoint in an vastly diversifying world to identify and address systemic barriers to inclusion.

About our Speaker:
Daniel Ogunyemi serves as the College Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Ozarks Technical Community College. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Burrell Behavioral Health and CASA of SWMO. He obtained his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Evangel University and Bachelor’s in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University. Civically, Daniel serves on the Board of Directors at The Arc of the Ozarks, Advisory Boards for Biz 417 and Safe and Sober, Young Professionals Committee for CoxHealth and Leadership Council of The Network (Springfield Chamber), and Vice-President of the Sigma Nu Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Daniel is married to Ki Ogunyemi and has a 2-year-old son named Kian.
