Veteran talent among the most sought in today’s job market. However, recruiting Veterans can be challenging as their needs, expectations, and talents are vastly different from typical candidates. In today’s discussion, we will look at those needs and expectations, as well as brief guideline for sourcing Veterans.

Meet our speaker: Frank Alaniz
Frank is a workforce consultant with over 30 years’ experience in workforce programs, independent recruiting programs, and veteran job seeker employment and training programs. He was recognized by the U. S. Conference of Mayors and the State of Missouri for his contributions to Veteran and Job Seeker employment programs. Frank is currently developing employment and training programs for many of the St. Louis Region’s Library systems, employment networking programs and Regional Veteran Outreach programs. Frank can typically be found in his shop perfecting his metalsmithing skills, coding for his multiple 3d printers and just being an “all-around nice guy.”
