Brief Synopsis of Program:

How leaders respond to questions, mistakes, and differing perspectives shapes an environment where people either feel empowered to think critically or hesitate to speak up. This session explores the relationship between psychological safety, accountability, and critical thinking, highlighting how leaders can create environments that support learning, sound decision-making, and continuous development. Participants will explore practical strategies for fostering psychological safety through clear communication, curiosity-driven questions, and intentional leadership behaviors.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, HR professionals will be able to:

1. Define Psychological Safety.

2. Understand the relationship between Psychological Safety and accountability.

3. Explore methods for influencing Psychological Safety.

Meet our Speaker

Ryan Morris is the Director of Professional Development at CoxHealth. With over a decade of experience spanning healthcare, education, and nonprofit organizations, Ryan specializes in leadership development, workforce development, organizational learning, and change management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Evangel University and a master’s degree in Education. With a passion for helping leaders and organizations translate research and practical insights into meaningful workplace impact, Ryan’s approach to learning and development is grounded in the belief that small, intentional adjustments can create significant organizational impact.
