About sahra's programs

SAHRA provides monthly meetings, professional development seminars, workshops, new member luncheons, committee appreciation luncheons, etc.  Monthly meetings and professional development seminars are available for both members and non-members; however, some other functions are for SAHRA members only.  SAHRA encourages and strongly supports HRCI & SHRM certification, so most monthly meetings and professional development seminars offer recertification credits for members.  The Program Committee and Professional Development Committee seek professional speakers for all of our educational events.

Program Fees & Registrations

Regular meetings are scheduled each month, typically from 11:15 am - 1:00 pm, with the exception of April, July, and October. April is the month of the annual SAHRA conference - a full day event offering a variety of educational opportunities. There is no meeting held in July. October provides a half-day Professional Development Seminar.

All attendees (students, members and non-members) must register for each event by the registration deadline. Attendees can pay via Visa, MasterCard, or Discover by registering online. Attendees may also choose to print an invoice and mail payment or bring payment with them to the program.

All registrations are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to each monthly meeting. Since our venues require an advance headcount, registrations placed after this deadline will not be accepted. Any registrations canceled after this deadline will also be billed for the meeting. Also, meeting fees are non-refundable.

Never been to a SAHRA monthly meeting? If you are considering becoming a member of SAHRA and are eligible for membership, contact the Membership Chair via email to discuss the possibility of attending a regular monthly meeting at no cost to you.

Are you a current SAHRA member who would like to invite a guest? If the guest has never attended a SAHRA event, but is considering becoming a member of SAHRA and meets the membership eligibility requirements, contact the Membership Chair via email to discuss the possibility of your guest attending one regular monthly meeting at no cost.
