SAHRA currently serves over 300 members and is open to those professionally engaged in Human Resources Management within business, government, or the academic community.
SAHRA offers an array of opportunities for members to develop their professional skills through educational programs, idea exchange, and professional networking. Member benefits include a monthly newsletter, monthly programs, semi-annual professional development seminars, opportunity to earn SHRM and HRCI credit, and other special events or workshops. SAHRA is also actively involved in the community and partners with area educational institutions to offer volunteer support to students and leader who will make up our future workforce.

Regular membership includes Springfield-area professionals whose primary responsibility is in administration of the Human Resources function at any level in the organization they represent, or individuals who have been in the human resources practice for a minimum of 12 months. Membership is not transferable and remain with the individual original assigned to. Members that hold a regular membership are eligible to vote and hold office.
Members can choose to pay a low, yearly membership fee per calendar year, or can opt to add on the cost of meeting fees.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
A company may register up to five (5) individuals within their company for a full calendar year (January to December). The membership remains with the company for that calendar year, not the registered individuals.
Pre-pay is required for the Corporate Membership registration. There are two options available:
Each individual must still complete the regular membership application and be approved. Simply select "invoice me" on the payment option and the invoice will be cleared once payment is received from the Corporate point of contact.
Each Corporate membership will assign one of the registered individuals to be the point of contact. This point of contact will register for the corporate membership and pay the annual fee. Simply, include the names of the 4 other individuals in the "comments" of registration.
3 of the 5 registered individuals can rotate amongst themselves to attend meetings, conferences, professional development sessions and other SAHRA events. Individuals must still register individually for all SAHRA events.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Applicants who are not eligible under other membership classifications may join SAHRA as an Associate Member. However, Associate Members must be active members of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and must designate SAHRA (Chapter #0026) as their primary chapter. Members in this category are not eligible to vote or hold office.
Members in this membership category must understand that active solicitation of human resource products and/or services at membership program is not allowed, unless the solicitation is planned and a part of the scheduled membership program (as approved by the Program Committee and the Board of Directors prior to any such membership program).
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
